When digital game developers Ubisoft contacted us to do something special for Assassin’s Creed 15 year anniversary we jumped at the opportunity. The brief was to make a short video of us creating an Assassin's Creed inspired artwork, so we made an awesome canvas painting and shot the video in a style true to the game. The canvas was sent to Ubisoft headquarters and the video was used for online promotion along with videos made by 9 other artists from all around the world.

BlackBerry teamed up with Mars to promote their 2015 BBM Stickathon competition. The artist got to do some digital art by creating ten of his own stickers for BlackBerry Messenger as well as two promo video clips to further inspire the creative community to join in. The duration of the competition ran for one month and the “Mars Graffiti” Facebook page was used to reach out to and get involvement from aspiring designers and artists.

During lock down things were tough for people all over, Bull Brand contacted us to help them realise a wall and a promo video to be used online. The goal of the larger country wide campaign was to give people the strength, motivation and inspiration to keep on going. It was a great project that showed the brand really does care about community.

This time Mars teams up with his fellow graffiti artists from Demolition Squad and urban art-wear brand Butan to get involved in the fashion industry and design a unique series of clothing for the Butan 2014 summer range. Along with the garments, DS and Butan did a 50 meter long mural, had a release party exhibition at Two by Two Art Studio and made two kick ass promo videos.

For their launch into the South African market, Dead Mans Fingers Rum got hold of us to paint 4 billboards all positioned on the highways in and around Johannesburg and Pretoria. Millions of people saw the making of the artworks live as we painted on a lift 3 stories high above the traffic. Millions more saw the videos online, a perfect example of how to make a large-scale impact.

Kappa reached out to us to be a part of their online influencer campaign, along with 4 other influencers in the sport, music, dance and YouTube industries. We collaborated to make some great short videos. The urban art was a key feature in bringing together all the elements visually and the ads were shown on all the local Kappa channels as well as their international pages.

Having sponsored influencers in different industries, Mercedes Smart Car sponsored Mars for his role in the creative community. The Instagram and Facebook pages were used for promoting the new Smart Car in cool and creative ways. Mars was also able to paint an actual Smart Car at the Design Indaba in 2017, as well as paint at events and paint  the Mercedes Smart Lounge at their head office.

We had the opportunity to collaborate with the legendary South African sculptor Anton Smit and his team. The concept was to capture the four natural elements across his Easter Island inspired head sculptures. The heads are on display at the Anton Smit Gallery and the movie was used for online social media marketing.

Over a period of 4 months and just shy of 5 000 mobile studio and fan submissions received, the judges had to narrow it down to 12 finalists in the emcee, dance and graffiti categories. Selecting one winner for each category at the Sprite Uncontainable hip hop talent search finals event, which was held at Zone 6, Soweto on August 2nd, 2014. The show also featured international hip hop stars Pharoahe Monch and Jean Grae as well as a full line-up of local artists.
